Who says English is making a mess of European languages?

I love this use of as big as a house on this Italian forum iMovie '06: commenti e impressioni [Archivio] - Forum Macitynet

Il nuovissimo iMovie '06 ha un bug grande come una casa, riguarda l'applicazione dei vari fade-in fade-out audio.

And btw I never did work out how to fade audio in iMovie HD--if anyone wants to help me out I'd be much obliged:-)

Dug:

Wey hey, I'm on iMovie 5 and it worked a treat! Now if I could only work out why the titles are pixelated when I export my dvds to idvd...

Thanks Robbie :-)

hi dug

to fade out in imovie - you first have to extract the audio from the movie picture (Menu: Advanced: extract audio) and then drag down the audio line to fade. If it is a music file you have added then you should just be able to drag down the audio line and selected points. In fact that is now rubbish - in iMovie05 there is an audio line on the movie which you just click points and rasie or lower at will. You have to be in timeline view and n ot clip view for this to work. ok
